Morning: Arrive at Cochin Airport (COK) or Ernakulam Railway Station. Start your drive up toward Munnar.
En Route: Stop by the roaring Cheeyappara Waterfalls and Valara Waterfalls right off the highway. Enjoy views of spice and rubber plantations as the air gets cooler
Afternoon: Check into your Munnar resort. Refresh and have a traditional Kerala lunch.
Evening: Catch a breathtaking sunset at the Pothamedu Viewpoint. Spend the rest of your night strolling through the local Munnar town market.

8:00 AM: Head early to Eravikulam National Park (Rajamalai) to spot the endangered Nilgiri Tahr mountain goat. Early mornings offer the best chances of clear views before mist rolls in. (Note: The park closes annually around Feb-March for breeding season).
11:30 AM: Learn the heritage of the region's green gold at the Tata Tea Museum.
1:30 PM: Grab lunch and drive down the Mattupetty direction. Stop at the scenic Photo Point for quick pictures amidst the tea carpets.
3:00 PM: Visit Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point, where you can enjoy a speed boat ride or a peaceful walk by the reservoir.
5:00 PM: Unwind with a peaceful boat row across the picturesque Kundala Lake.

07:00 AM – The Descent: Check out early and drive from Munnar to Alleppey (180 km, 5.5 hours).
12:00 PM – Houseboat Boarding: Arrive at the Alleppey jetty to board your traditional Kerala Houseboat (Kettuvallam).
Afternoon: Enjoy a traditional Keralite lunch served on a banana leaf while cruising through the vast Vembanad Lake, narrow palm-fringed canals, and lush paddy fields.
Evening: The boat anchors by 05:30 PM (per government regulations to allow local fishermen to cast nets). Take a village walk, experience a local coir-making unit, or watch the sunset over the backwaters.
Night: Enjoy a freshly prepared dinner and spend the night floating under the stars.
08:00 AM (Check-out & Drive): Have an early breakfast, check out of your resort, and begin your journey south toward Varkala.
12:30 PM (Jatayu Earth's Center): Break up the long drive by stopping at Jatayu Earth's Center. Take a cable car up the hill to marvel at the world’s largest bird sculpture, based on the mythical bird from the Ramayana. Grab lunch at the hilltop complex.
04:30 PM (Varkala Arrival & Sunset): Reach Varkala and check into your cliffside hotel. Head immediately to the iconic Varkala Cliff to catch a breathtaking sunset over the Arabian Sea.
Night (Cliffside Dining): Walk along the vibrant cliff path and enjoy fresh seafood at one of the many cafes overlooking the ocean.
Overnight: Varkala
07:30 AM (Beach & Heritage): Start your morning early with a peaceful stroll on Papanasam Beach (Varkala Beach), known for its holy waters. Afterward, visit the historic, 2,000-year-old Janardhana Swamy Temple located right near the coast.
10:00 AM (Mangrove Kayaking - Optional): If time permits before your departure, drive briefly north to Kappil Lake for a morning kayaking session through peaceful mangrove lanes.
Afternoon (Departure): Check out of your hotel. Varkala is conveniently located just 1 to 1.5 hours away from Trivandrum International Airport (TRV) or the Trivandrum Railway Station for your journey home.
